safeDISMISSAL.COM is a web based software solution that automates your entire dismissal process. Our software is highly configurable with many options that can meet all dismissal processes.
What is required for safeDISMISSAL.COM to work?
The minimum requirements are:
1. A WIFI/Internet connection in the school. Cell phones can be used but are not preferred, except for the "scout" function, due to cell carrier's network speeds inside of building.
2. Technology that allows the school to display a web page (Computer, Projector, Television, IPAD, AppleTV, etc).
3. (Optional) Barcode scanner, safeDISMISSAL.COM works great with barcode pickup numbers.
How would I know if my school could benefit from safeDISMISSAL.COM?
While every school is different, we have found that if your school has multiple dismissal processes (school bus, parent pickup/car riders, walkers, after school, special needs, office check outs, etc.) all at the same time - then your school could probably benefit from safeDISMISSAL.COM. Also, if you have more than 50 kids that are parent pickup / car riders (this is usually the slowest dismissal process), then you school could benefit. How much does safeDISMISSAL.COM cost?
We have been told by many customers that our pricing is our single best feature of the system. The primary variable of our pricing is the number of students within the school. We offer a tiered pricing structure in order to be affordable for all sizes of schools. We also offer a "big" county discount.
Why does safeDISMISSAL.COM use a monthly subscription model?
Most software is sold as one upfront price plus an annual maintenance fee. We feel strongly that safeDISMISSAL.COM makes our schools safer - and therefore we choose to give the software away free (without that one-time upfront price). Our pricing structure is setup to cover only our, monthly, on-going maintenance / operating expenses.
